Paeonia Dancing ButterflyOnly 1 left!
A simply superb form of Paeonia lactiflora which is strong growing and eye catching. Fully grown expect around 90cm x 90 cm of strong green foliage stalks, which emerge deep crimson in the spring - very dramatic - topped with large, single, shocking pink, fragrant flowers with a central core of bright yellow, much liked by butterflies. The flowers appear in early summer and last for a month or so, and make a great focal point in a bed. Pretty hardy, they enjoy a good, deep, fertile, neutral to alkaline soil, reasonably well drained, preferably in full sun, but once established they are really easy to maintain. Cut back the old stems in autumn, and provide support for the new ones in spring, and these lovely plants will reward you in bundles. Makes a good cut flower, and is unattractive to rabbits and deer.
