Conifers

Conifers are a group of evergreens, they're usually grown for their foliage and shape, forming structure in more formal gardens. They produce cones and most are tree's, although smaller shrub varieties tend to be most popular in gardens. The most famous conifers are spruces and pines, although you may know them as the Christmas tree.
