'Nana Blauteppich' aka 'Blue Carpet' as the name suggests is a groundcovering speedwell, making a dense mat of small spear shaped, toothed, dark green leaves over which upright stems bear slender and erect terminal racemes of tiny violet blue star shaped flowers in summer.
