Trollius chinensis 'Golden Queen'

Trollius 'Golden Queen' is an upright herbaceous perennial, with deeply lobed, sharply-toothed dark green leaves and long-stalked, large golden bowl-shaped flowers, hence the common name of Globeflower.  Prefers a heavy moist soil which does not dry out, and good for a bog garden or the margins of a pond.  Will grow well in sun or in semi shade, and flowering will be prolongued with regular deadheading.  Goes well in a cottage garden setting.
