Tradescantia x andersoniana 'Little Doll'
A compact variety of tradescantia which has strappy iris like leaves, faintly tinted purple with terminal spikes of three triangular petalled light blue flowers, with contrasting yellow stamens at the centre. The flowers usually only last for one day and are borne successionally from late May into August. Clump forming 'Little Doll' will spread 30 to 35cm and grow to a height of approximately 45cm. Will grow in sun or partial shade in any well drained but moist soil.
