Syringa vulgaris 'Sensation'

The sensational lilac!

It has large panicles of single purple-red flowers with an unusual yet attractive white edge which creates a two tone effect. The flowers are heavily fragrant with a sweet scent, when it flowers in May and June each year.

Syringa 'Sensation' can be grown as a small tree or pruned to create a large bush.

Happiest in full sun or half shade, in any reasonable moist but well drained soil.

Grows to 3-4m over 10 years.
