Royal Himalayan Lilac

Raised in Yorkshire this is a very distinct shrub with large oval shaped leaves 10-20cm long. It has broad golden yellow edges to the younger leaves with a green centre.

Its flowers are pale lilac in bud, opening white in June.

It is a robust shrub tolerant of harsh cold weather.

Best in full sun or half shade

Grows to 2m over 10 years.
