Sorbus vilmorinii is an unfussy tree that will grow in relatively poor soils. particularly suited to neutral or alkaline soils, it will survive in anything but waterlogged soil. Beautiful soft green pinnate leaves which colour well in autumn form the backdrop to the large clusters of creamy white flowers in spring, which are very attractive to plollinators. In autumn through winter the fruits are a very attractive shade of dusky whiteish pink.
