Popularly known as stonecrop, sedum is also useful as part of a pot arrangement, on rockeries, filling cracks in a patio, and as part of a green roof. Sedum rupestre Angelina is a low mat forming perennial. The fleshy narrow needle like leaves are bright yellow in spring, fading to green yellow in summer, topped with short spikes of yellow flowers, and turn shades of red and orange in autumn. Growing only 15cm high it can spread as far as 60 cm wide. Extremely hardy this variety will thrive in sun or partial shade in most situations and soils.
