Saxifraga x arendsii Highlander White and Red - saxifrage

Tiny green grey leaves in rosettes are topped in late spring by abundant small white and red flowers, making this lovely saxifrage a very cheery sight.  Growing only 10cm x 10cm, this is a choice variety for the rockery, or in a crevice in a wall, or even in a pot.  Happiest in a neutral or alkaline soil, moist, but well drained, this plant will grow best in full sun or light shade.
