Trebah Lilac White is a rather gorgeous variety of slavia. It's a sturdy plant which grows to approx 60cm x 60cm, and looks fabulous as the mainstay of borders, in pots , or simply as a standalone feature. The pure white flowers are tinged with lilac, and stand out well against the characteristic aromatic mid green foliage. As with all half hardy salvias, given good drainage, and a sheltered spot in full sun or partial shade this should be hardy in most normal winters in most parts of the UK. May need protection in the hardest of winters, but worth the risk and/or the effiort for it's sheer flower power and attraction of pollinators. As with all salvias trim after the first flush of summer flowers to reinvigorate and promote flowers into the autumn, but then leave further pruning until after winter frosts and until new buds can be seen.
