Autumn Sage. Salvia greggii 'Icing Sugar' is a super little plant; a woody-based perennial with mid-green leaves atop of which dance little bi -coloured pink flowers with shades of lilac, like little sets of puckered lips, from mid-summer to early autumn. Max Height 65cm. Max Spread 50cm. Flowers July to September. Full sun/partial shade. Hardy, but needs good drainage and protection in colder climes. Leave top growth on over winter and mulch well. Only cut back when new growth starts to appear in spring. Water thoroughly before planting. Suits any well drained soil in full sun.
