Redcurrant - Ribes rubrum - Rolan

Redcurrant Rolan' is an upright, spreading, deciduous shrub with mid green leaves and clusters of insignificant, yellow-green flowers in mid- to late spring followed by heavy crops of gorgeously glossy, edible, translucent, bright red fruit ready for harvest in mid- to late summer.  Brilliant in fruit tarts, jellies and jams.
