A bushy, deciduous shrub with small, silky, grey green, pinnate leaves with 5 leaflets. Masses of pretty cup shaped, primrose yellow flowers with a darker centre, over a long season from late spring to mid-autumn, adorn this wonderful little border filler, which grows to only about 1m high by 1.5m wide. After flowering give it a light trim to remove spent flower heads and occasionally prune out older stems and spindly growth,. Other than that this pollinator friendly plant is very low maintenance, growing in most well drained but moist soils, in sun or light shade.
