Pieris 'Little Heath'
A delightful dwarf form of this popular evergreen shrub, Pieris 'Little Heath' has glossy mid green leaves edged in cream, with the newest leaves emerging pink, and in spring ruffled sprays of dainty bell shaped cream flowers. It grows to only 60cm x 60cm or so, making it ideal for a patio pot with year round interest, or it will be equally happy in a sheltered spot in the border. Frost hardy, but new growth can be damaged by a late frost, however, by removing damaged leaves a ssoon as possible the shrub will recover. Likes a moist but well drained neutral to acid, humus rich soil.
