Phlox x paniculata 'Nicky'

Phlox are an upright perennial, producing upright clusters of simple, but highly fragrant, flowers throughout summer and early autumn.  A really useful plant as part of a mixed informal border, much loved by pollinators.  Will grow in full sun, or partial shade on any moist but well drained soil.  'Nicky' will get to 90cm high and clump to around 40cm in time, is mildew resistant, and the purple flowers are allegedly the darkest colour of any phlox.  Makes an excellent cut flower.
