DESCRIPTION
Petunia Merlin is excellent on account of its dwarf compact plant habit and uniformity over the entire flowering season. Plants do not spread out even after rain, with flowers about 6.5cm (2 1/2") across.

Sow seed on the surface of good free draining seed compost and lightly cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or a warm place at a temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F) until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 15-30cm (6-12") apart.
