Nerine's are autumn flowering bulbs, providing a welcome splash of colour at a time when many other things are fading. Crispa is a very pretty pink flowering variety possessing clusters of small lily like flowers atop erect sturdy stems. The flowers tend to appear before the foliage, which is dark green and straplike. They need a well drained and sunny position, and sometimes take a little while to establish, but these wonderful little plants are worth the effort.
