An evergreen female holly with spiny, silver margined, dark green leaves. Small lowers in May and June produce abundant bright red berries in autumn, as long as a male holly for fertilisation purposes is somewhere in the vicinity. Will do best in full sun or dappled shade ony any decent, moist but well drained soil. Hardy. An extremely hardy, slow growing plant which makes an excellent specimen tree in a medium sized garden, but can also be used as a large shrub, or as part of a hedge. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
