Nicola's Blush is a delightful little evergreen shrub. It's beautifully named, and if Nicola was as beautiful as her blush I'm sure she must have been a stunner! The exceptionally long blooming season of this hebe, from early summer right through to November, makes it perfect for edging borders, on the rockery, in a pot, or anywhere else that takes your fancy. The flowers are a pure white blushed with a baby pink, making them easy to accomodate in any planting scheme as they are demure and pretty, and by hebe standards quite large. Loved by pollinators too, this shrub is easy to grow; it just needs a moist but well drained soil in a sunny or semi shaded spot, where it should flourish and grow readily to about 60cm x 100cm. It can be kept tidier and bushier by giving it a light trim when the flowers have finished to prevent it getting too woody and leggy. Pretty hardy too, as it has shown by overwintering well in our cold and exposed part of North Yorkshire! Awarded a coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit.
