Geum 'Pink Petticoats'

What a gorgeous beauty this geum is with it's semi double pretty pink frilly flowers, peachy undertones dangling softly from the slender stalks, which emerge from neat clumps of mid green, scalloped and slightly hairy leaves.  Blooming from May through to July it sparkles through the best of the summer months punching well above it's weight for sheer flower power.  Will grow in sun or semi shade in any moisture retaining soil, and gets to c 30cm tall by 30cm across, in sun or in semi shade.  A more compact variety than some and will work equally well in pots and window boxes as it will in the perennial border.
