Digitalis purpurea Foxy Group

Regular price £3.99

A popular form of the cottage garden favourite Foxglove is Digitalis purpurea 'Foxy Group'.  These tend to be a little shorter and stouter than the species with flowers in shades of white, pink  or creamy yellow, heavily spotted in the throat with deep red.  They can reach to about 90cm in height in late spring and early summer.  Foxgloves are biennial, which means they will survive for only two or sometimes three seasons before dying, but they also readily self seed themselves.  Will grow in most soils in sun or in shade.
