Deschampsia Pixie Fountain

Deschampsia 'Pixie Fountain' is a dwarf tufted hair grass which grows in dense clumps that are 50 to 60cm tall and 30 to 45cm wide. It has silver-green foliage and bright silvery-white flowers that mature to a rich brown and are pretty in cut or dried flower arrangements.  Will grow in partial shade as well as a sunny location in most soils that are reasonably well drained.  Mixes well with hostas and ferns for an informal woodland look.
