Clematis texensis 'Princess Diana' is a medium sized herbaceous climber with gorgeous, luminous single reddy pink, tulip shaped flowers in profusion in late summer and early autumn. The more established the plant is the more it flowers. It is suitable for most soils and aspects in sun or semi shade, grows to c 4m by 1m in time, but can be kept in check and forced to flower on lower stems if cut back hard to a good pair of buds on each stem approximately one foot from the ground in late winter/early spring.
