Clematis alpina Helsingborg

Clematis alpina 'Helsingborg' is a late spring flowering clematis, which will get up to 2.5m high in time.  It has beautiful little four petalled flowerheads in deep purple.  After the flowers have gone the silky tassel like seedheads maintain the season of interest.  This plant thrives in shade, and will suit any fertile soil which is moist but well drained and suit any aspect. and suits most aspects.
