Cirsium japonicum 'Pink Beauty'

A clump-forming biennial or short lived perennial with prickly, dark green leaves, softly hairy beneath, and fluffy soft pink thistle-like flowers on a long, soft stem, in late summer and early autumn.  Prefers a sunny site in any type of soil.  Perfectly hardy, and grows to around 90cm tall by 50cm across.
