Ceanothus 'Italian Skies'

California Lilac. Spreading evergreen shrub with finely toothed, glossy, bright green leaves. Bright blue flowers in large panicles between April and June. Max Height 1.5m. Max Spread 3.5m.  Requires a well drained soil and a sheltered sunny location to do best, but is fully hardy down to circa -15%.  No regular pruning necessary, except to tidy up dead stems and restrict unwanted growth.
