Caltha palustris or kingcup, marsh marigold, cow lily, marybuds, golds, soldier's buttons, bull flower, brave bassinets, crazy beth or any of the vast arroy of other common names this flower has, is from the Ranunculaceae (buttercup) family. They are rhizomatous herbaceous perennials with rounded green leaves and clusters of bright yellow flowers.
Grows to approx. 50cm high and 50cm wide.
