Broad Bean - Bunyards Exhibition

The hardiest of all beans with an excellent flavour if picked young.

Harvest:
Pick when young for best flavour. The very young pods can also be eaten whole. 

How to Grow:
Plant in double rows 22cm apart. Pinch out the top growth when in full flower to obtain better-filled pods and avoid black fly. May be planted in Autumn for an early crop the following year. Autumn planted crops will benefit from some protection.
