Buddleja davidii 'Empire Blue'

Also known as the Butterfly Bush, Buddleja is a fast growing shrub with arching stems of  mid green leaves.  Empire Blue has long conical panicles of tiny violet blue flowers, with an orange throat, and is possibly the closest currently available to a true blue. Max Height 2m. Max Spread 1.5m. Flowers May to August. Full Sun, hardy, and suits most well drained soil conditions. Water thoroughly before planting.  Attracts pollinators.
