Aster Purple Diamond

Aster Purple Diamond has a compact habit with bright purple flowers with double rows of frilly petals around an accessible golden centre.  Flowers August and September and will adorn pots beautifully, as well as anchoring the front or centre of a mixed border.  Likes full sun or a little shade in a moist but well drained soil.  Will grow up to 35cm high by 30cm across in three years.  Best split to retain vigour after this period.
