Amelanchier Robin Hill is an evenly branched upright tree with bronze leaves when young, turning green as the summer progresses. The pretty star shaped flowers open from pink buds in spring, and are a very pale pink with pinkier undersides which slowly turn the purest white. Red berries form in the summer, which are highly attractive to birds, and the leaves flare beautiful shades of orange, copper and yellow in autumn, making this tree a highly decorative tree all round. Holder of a prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, this medium sized tree reaches a maximum of about 7 metres in 20 years in height by 3 to 5 metres width, making it a superb specimen tree. Fully hardy it will grow in any reasonable soil, provided it is well drained but consistently moist.
