Allium 'Summer Beauty'

A lovely summer flowering variety of allium featuring glossy green strap like foliage amongst which slender stems carry balls of tiny, slightly fluffy light purple flowers for a long period in summer (July till September). Grows c60cm tall by 25cm wide, and is clump forming.  Needs a sharply drained soil and full sun to thrive.  The seedheads can be left on for winter interest, and as with all alliums are excellent for attracting pollinators and wildlife.
