Tradescantia 'JS Brainstorm'

A terrific new variety of tradescantia that has bigger floweers than most previous cultivars, and an extremely long blooming season from early summer to mid autumn.  The three petalled bright purple flowers have a pop of colour at the centre from the gold stamens which make them sparkle in the sunlight against the bright green straplike foliage.  They prefer a sunny or partially sunny site in most soils as long as they are moist, and where happy can grom to 60cm tall by 30cm across.  Dead head regularly to maintain flowering period and divide mature clumps evry three to four years to maintain vigour.
