Hosta sieboldiana Elegans

Liking a deep and rich soil in a cooler area, therefore good in shade, the superb oval to heart shaped, deep blue/grey leaves of this hosta are deeply veined and quilted.  Has lilac flowers in summer, but it is the impressive leaves that make this one a spectacular showstopper.  Sieboldiana Elegans also colours really well in the autumn, when the leaves slowly turn glowing and luminescent honey shades before disintegrating for the winter.
