An evergreen perennial combining rich red-brown leaves with spikes of cherry-red flowers. loverly in the border and as cut flowers. grows to a height of 30cm (12in) 

ideal for containers or bed and borders in a fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
