Hemerocallis Stella D'oro is an award winning smaller variety of Day lilly, famed for it's long flowering season, when it produces abundant large yellow, frilly edged flowers with a light green throat. As with all Day Lillies, the flowers each last a single day, but are then replaced with another, sometimes from the same scape, sometimes not. Clump forming, this variety will grow to 30cm high on any moderate, moist but well drained soil in sun or half shade, and is useful in so many settings it is often known as the perfect perennial. Completely hardy, Hemerocallis 'Stelle D'oro' will, like all of the species benefit from being re generated through division every 3 - 5 years.
