Gaura lindheimeriSold Out
A very pretty, bushy, clump forming perennial with slender, willowy stems and narrow leaves. Produces star-shaped white flowers fading to pink over a long season. Useful and airy in the border, Gaura lindheimeri is happy in most soils except very wet, in full sun, and where it is happy can grow 1 to 1.5 metres high by 0.5 to 1 metre wide. Holds a prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit, and is attractive to pollinators. Protect crowns with a deep mulch over winter, but considered hardy in most areas of the UK.
