Fritillaria meleagrisSold Out
The snake's head fritillary, Fritillaria meleagris, is remarkable as there are few other plants which have such bizarre and distinctive markings, as these do on their bell shaped purple, or occasionally white, flowers. Very hardy and easy to grow, fritillaries just require a moist but well drained soil and to be left to get on with it. Excellent for naturalising in meadows, but also work well in rockeries, and in pots (where they will require a good watering regime). Supplied as potted bulbs 'in the green'.
