Apple mint is said to be very good as a digestve aid. The flowers make a nice mint tea, and the leaves are good for speeding up the metabolism to burn fat. It's a very aromatic plant which looks great in a bed and attracts lots of pollinators, but can become invasive, so best grown in a container, or a deep bottomless bucket protruding 5cm oiut of the ground. It has a more subtle taste than common mint, but can be used for many of the same purposes. Cut back to ground level each spring. The flavour is best before flowering.
