Also known as False Sea Thrift, Armeria is an excellent perennial plant for borders, rockeries or tubs. Clumps of grass like mid green foliage are speared through in late spring and all summer with long stalks topped by bright red pom poms of tiny little flowers, beloved by pollinators. Grows 30 to 35cm high, and up to 40cm across. Prefers well drained conditions in full sun in any reasonable soil.
