Plum Marjories SeedlingSold Out
Marjorie's Seedling is a good late season, dual purpose plum tree, bearing blue black fruits reliably. For the very best flavour eating fresh leave on the tree as long as possible. Fruit can be stored for 5 days or so, or used for culinary purposes. Self fertile and in flowering group 3, this variety likes cool temperatures and moist conditions, as long as the soil is well drained. On St Julian rootstock, so expect a vigorous tree that will grow 3 to 4 metres high and wide in 10 years. Highly disease resistant, and, as a late flowerer, particularly useful when facing east or in areas pf late frosts.
