This tree is a cracking focal point in any garden, anywhere. The large dark green heart shaped leaves dangle gracefully all summer, before turning yellow in the autumn and then falling to reveal the magnificent multi stems of peeling papery white stems, a real standout in the depths of winter. Catkins appear in spring, which are highly attractive to birds, and ther tree may eventually reach 8 metres or more in height and spread. Suitable in any moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade.
