King Edward is arguably the most famous of all potatoes, even though it has been around for around a century, and with good reason, as it is a delicious, reliable, heavy cropping maincrop variety, which rarely discolours during cooking. Good for most purposes, but superb for roasting, and always the foundation stone of my Christmas dinner! Supplied loose and sold by the kilo.
