One of the larger varieties available, Astrantia Suoerstar grows to 60cm x 60cm, and features tidy clumps of attractive green palmate leaves, above which masses of green veined white bracts surround the pincushion flowerheads. As long as deadheaded regularly these flowers will be produced for weeks on end from early summer. Excellent for cuttng, and perfect for pollinators, this really is a 'Superstr' of a plant, which grows in full sun to partial shade, as long as the soil is moisture retentive.
