The elegent Actaea Brunnette is a fantastic plant for shady areas that do not dry out, with dark clumps of ferny foliage contrasted with highly scented white bottle brush flowers from August to October. It is a great plant to attract Bumblebees and butterflies to your garden. With tall strong flower stems there should be no reason to stake and this makes them great for cutting and using as decorations in your home. These plants are also well known for being rabbit and deer resistant, making it perfect for those of you that may live in the countryside with open gardens. When fully grown it will reach 1.2m with a span of 60cm.
Once flowered they will produce bright red shiny berries which birds and other animals love but, please, keep these away from children.
