This bushy 40 to 45 cm high and wide perennial forms a mound of leathery textured mid green leaves, over which masses of single golden yellow flowers with a deep burgundy red eye bloom in profusion all summer long, as long as they are regularly deadheaded. Needs sun, or as much sun as possible, but performs well in most decent but well drained soils. Attractive to pollinators.
