A large shrub or small tree, Madame Lemoine is the best of all the white lilacs. TExtremely hardy, it features mid green, slightly glossy and attractive foliage with flowers that are creamy yellow in bud opening to the purest of whites. A very popular shrub that will attain 2 to 3 metres in 10 years. Holder of an RHS Award of Graden Merit, this shrub likes a sunny spot in a reasonably fertile neutral to alkaline soil.
