This tall growing Deutzia is one of the prettiest, with flowers which are single to semi double, rose pink with darker highlights, presented in large clusters in early summer. The mid green leaves may turn purple shades in autumn before falling. Best as a specimen, or as part of a mixed shrub border, as it will grow up to 3m high by 2M spread. It will tolerate a wide range of positions from full sun to medium shade, in any well drained but never dry soil conditions, and holds an RHS award of garden merit. Water in dry periods.
