Buddleja 'White Profusion, also known as Butterfly Bush is a fast-growing deciduous shrub with arching stems of green leaves. Panicles of small white flowers with yellow eyes appear from mid summer to early autumn, which are highly and sweetly scented, much beloved by butterflies, bees and othe pollinators. Cut back hard in spring as the shrub starts to grow to keep the shrub from getting too large, and may also be reduced by a third in autumn to prevent root rock in winter storms. Unchecked the shrub can reach 3m high by up to 5m across. Suitable for most locations and soil types which are moist but well drained.
